ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.-Kila Ka'aihue registered his second multi-homer game of the season en route to a 9-4 victory for the Reno Aces over the Albuquerque Isotopes on Friday night at Isotopes Park.

The first two Aces batters of the night reached base, then were driven home by Ka'aihue's first long ball of the game to give Reno an early 3-0 lead.

Albuquerque tied the game at three, but a two-RBI double by Chris Owings and a two-run shot by Ka'aihue combined to give Reno the edge it would need in the seventh inning.

At the dish for Reno, Ka'aihue went 3-for-4 with five RBI. Tuffy Gosewisch also homered for the second-straight game. Owings added to his league-leading hits total, going 2-for-5 with two RBI and three runs scored.

LHP Tyler Skaggs dealt a quality outing and earned his third win of the season. He gave up three earned runs on seven hits through 6.1 innings, while striking out five.

LHP Aaron Laffey was charged with his first loss of the season for the Isotopes. He gave up five runs-four earned-on seven hits through 6.0 innings.

The series continues Saturday night, as the Aces look to secure their first series win of the season. RHP Randall Delgado (0-3, 9.09 ERA) will get the nod for Reno, while the Isotopes will counter with RHP Matt Palmer (1-1, 5.59 ERA). First pitch is set for 6:05 p.m. PT in Albuquerque.
