RENO, Nev.- The Reno Aces, in conjunction with Greater Nevada Field, are inviting 2018 season ticket holders to a viewing party on Tuesday night, as the National League's Los Angeles Dodgers take on the Houston Astros of the American League in Game One of the 2017 Major League Baseball World Series. The Los Angeles Dodgers are going for their first championship since 1988, while the Astros are making their 2nd World Series appearance in franchise history.
Greater Nevada Field will open at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday and the game will be shown inside Duffy's Ale House. Happy hour specials, including Witches Brew Featuring Bacardi $5, Selected craft Beer $5, any Cuervo Gold drink $3, french fries $4, mozzarella sticks $6, deep fried pickle chips $6, and onion Rings $6, will run for the duration of the evening.

The event is family-friendly and free of charge for season ticket members. Fans can enjoy free parking in the parking lot across the street from Greater Nevada Field. Attendees will have the chance to win great prizes, including merchandise and memorabilia.
First pitch is set for 5:09. PT at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, CA.
Will Harris, a relief pitcher for the Houston Astros, is the lone former Aces player who will be making an appearance in this year's world series. Harris played in 12 games for the Aces in 2013 and 43 in 2014, all out of the bullpen. The right-handed reliever out of LSU had a career year in '14 with Reno. Harris threw 45.2 innings and ended the season with a .99 ERA while allowing opponents to bat just .207. Harris made two appearances against the Boston Red Sox in the American League Division Series and struck out three in two scoreless innings.
Two additional former Aces contributed to the Dodgers and the Astros historic regular season runs in 2017. 2013 Aces starter Brandon McCarthy finished the regular season 6-4 with a 3.98 ERA in 16 starts, but has not made his way onto the 25-man playoff roster in 2017. Tony Sipp, a reliever for Reno in 2013, appeared in 46 games with the Astros this season. Like McCarthy, Sipp has not made an appearance in the playoffs this season.
