Isotopes Game At Fresno To Be Televised On CBS Sports Network
As part of a newly formed partnership between Minor League Baseball and CBS Sports Network, the Albuquerque Isotopes' May 15 game at the Fresno Grizzlies will be aired on CBS Sports Network as Minor League Baseball's "Game of the Week." The game's original 8:05 p.m. MT first pitch remains unchanged.
The Isotopes and Grizzlies split their first series this season in Fresno. It featured three shutouts, including back-to-back shutouts by the 'Topes pitching staff in a doubleheader April 26. Albuquerque and Frseno will also begin their second series of the season tonight, May 2, at Isotopes Park beginning at 7:05 p.m.
Minor League Baseball announced the partnership Thursday afternoon along with thefirst five games selected to be aired. A "Game of the Week" will be aired each week throughout the season until early August and additional dates will be announced later.
The partnership between MinorLeague Baseball and CBS Sports Network was formed in conjunction with JMI Sports and its Chief Executive Officer, Erik Judson. JMI Sports, based in San Diego, Calif., is a leading provider of sales, marketing, and project management and multi-media rights management services to universities, professional teams, and municipalities.
CBS Sports Network, the 24-hour cable home of CBS Sports, airs more than 400 live games annually, showcasing an array of men's and women's sports, as well as in-depth studio shows, documentaries and original programs.
