CURVE, Pa. - Tuesday's game between the Altoona Curve and Richmond Flying Squirrels at Peoples Natural Gas Field has been suspended due to rain and unplayable field conditions. The contest was scoreless with the Curve batting in the bottom of the second inning. Play will resume with no outs and an 0-1 count on Oneil Cruz.
The ballgame will resume on Wednesday, August 7 beginning at 4:30 p.m. and played through the full nine innings. Wednesday's regularly-scheduled game will be shortened to seven innings and will be played 30 minutes after the suspended game is finished.

Fans with tickets for Tuesday's game can bring their ticket stubs back to the PNG Field box office to redeem them for a ticket for a remaining Curve home game in 2019 (of equal or lesser value, based on availability).
The ballpark gates will open at 3:30 p.m. for UPMC Health Plan Member Appreciation Night and feature the UPMC Health Plan Carabiner Giveaway for the first 1,000 fans. Each Wednesday in Curve, Pa. is a Guaranteed WINSday, presented by Altoona Mirror, where if the Curve win, get a free ticket of equal or lesser value to any Wednesday home game in 2019.
