We Are The Augusta Pimento Cheese.
The Augusta GreenJackets will take the field on Friday, August 2nd and Saturday, August 3rd as the Augusta Pimento Cheese.
The GreenJackets sought a new team name to highlight a signature staple piece of the CSRA, the Pimento Cheese.The re-brand features a new Pimento Cheese logo and custom Pimento Cheese uniforms and will feature new merchandise both online and in-store at the Hive Pro Shop, including New Era baseball caps, t-shirts and more.
The Pimento Cheese will be a two-night only re-brand for the GreenJackets. The team will sport its new uniform against the Lakewood BlueClaws (Philadelphia Phillies) on Friday and on Saturday against the Hickory Crawdads (Texas Rangers).
These nights will include different food selections with pimento cheese, pimento cheese in-game promotions and then on Saturday, August 3rd, the GreenJackets will host the Pimento Cheese player jersey auction with proceeds going to benefit Walton Options for Independent Living.
Friday, August 2nd
- vs. Lakewood BlueClaws. First Pitch 7:05PM Gates: 6PM
- First 1500 fans to SRP Park will receive a T-Mobile Pimento Cheese Sandwich Container
- Ladies Night Friday presented by: HD98.3, Oliviana's Ristorante, Palm Beach Tan, Pure Barre of Augusta & The Swank Company. Ladies can enter in to win some great prizes from our Ladies Night Partners. Winners will be called throughout the night
- The GreenJackets will also welcome up and coming star, and brother of Charlie Puth, Stephen Puth to SRP Park. Stephen will be throwing out a First Pitch and will do a meet and greet with fans after presented by: HD98.3!
- Featured Beer Friday: From 6-8PM the GreenJackets will be running our Featured Beer Friday Happy Hour Special at the Keg Stand Bar. The Featured Beer for Friday, August 2nd is Columbia Craft Brewing

- Kicks 99 Concert Series (4:30PM) featuring local CSRA Native, Adam Harris Thompson
- Pimento Cheese Overload! You will be able to put Pimento Cheese on ANY food item that you would like.
- Pimento Cheese Player Jersey Auction- The GreenJackets will auction off their Pimento Cheese jerseys on Saturday, August 3rd. Proceeds from the Pimento Cheese Player Jersey Auction will go to benefiting Walton Options for Independent Living
- BOOMING Fireworks Show. The GreenJackets will light up the sky with another BOOMING Fireworks Show after the game.
