GreenJackets Announce 2019 Schedule

NORTH AUGUSTA, SC: The Augusta GreenJackets, South Atlantic League affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, in conjunction with the South Atlantic League, have announced the 2019 schedule at SRP Park.

The GreenJackets will open up their second season at SRP Park on Monday, April 15^th against the Greensboro Grasshoppers (Miami Marlins). During the first homestand, the GreenJackets will also welcome the Charleston RiverDogs (New York Yankees) (Thursday, April 18^th-Saturday, April 20^th).
"The Inaugural Season at SRP Park was a success, and the GreenJackets Front Office Staff is already busy planning for an exciting 2019 season," stated Tom Denlinger, GreenJackets Vice President. "Mark your calendars to join us on April 15^th because you won't want to miss it!"
The 2019 campaign begins against the Asheville Tourists (Colorado Rockies) at McCormick Field on Thursday, April 4th. The 140-game season ends at SRP Park on Monday, September 2^nd, against the Columbia Fireflies for a Labor Day Celebration. There will be 13 total homestands. The home slate will feature nine Monday games, ten Tuesday games, nine Wednesday games, eleven Thursday games, eleven Friday games, eleven Saturday games, and ten Sunday games.
The entire 140-game schedule will be completed in 152 days and will include twelve off-days including the three-day All-Star Break which will be held on June 17th-19th at Appalachian Power Park, home of the West Virginia Power (Pittsburgh Pirates).
The GreenJackets will play at home on Memorial Day (May 27th), Father's Day (June 16^th), Independence Day (July 4^th), and Labor Day (September 2nd). The GreenJackets will play every team in the South Atlantic League at least once this season. The only two teams to not make the trip to SRP Park are the Delmarva Shorebirds (Baltimore Orioles) and the West Virginia Power (Pittsburgh Pirates).
