GreenJackets Release 2016 Game Times

AUGUSTA, GA - The Augusta GreenJackets, Single "A" Affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, have released game start times for all 70 home games for the 2016 Season. 

 

Opening Night, presented by GRHealth, is Thursday, April 14th at 7:05 PM against the Charleston River Dogs (New York Yankees) and serve as a kick-off of the GreenJackets' 28th consecutive season in the CSRA.

 

Monday through Friday games will begin at 7:05 PM, with two exceptions. The GreenJackets "Baseball and Education Day Game" will be held at 10:35 AM on Wednesday, April 27th. "Super Splash Day" will begin at 12:05 PM on Wednesday, June 29th.  Once again, the GreenJackets will be home to host their Independence Day Extravaganza (July 4th).

 

In an effort to accommodate families throughout the CSRA, the GreenJackets have announced a new start time for Saturday home games (6:05 PM).

 

Sunday home games in the months of April and May will start at 2:05 PM. Sunday games in June, July, August, and September will begin at 5:05 PM.

 

All told, twelve of a possible thirteen South Atlantic League opponents will be stopping by Lake Olmstead Stadium. Hagerstown (Washington Nationals) is the only team not visiting Augusta in 2016. 

 

"It's been a busy off-season at Lake Olmstead Stadium as our staff develops the best promotional calendar to date," stated Tom Denlinger, General Manager. "We look forward to welcoming the CSRA to Catch the Buzz with us in 2016; we promise you won't want to miss it."
