North Augusta, SC: The Augusta GreenJackets, South Atlantic League affiliate of San Francisco Giants, won 10-2 against the Greensboro Grasshoppers on Sunday Afternoon.

The tone for the entire game was set on the mound by Jose Marte. He pitched six innings only giving up four hits and one earned run. He also fanned six Grasshoppers. Marte earned his fourth win of the season, which ties him for most wins in the South Atlantic League.

At the plate, Logan Baldwin shinned once again for the GreenJackets. Baldwin went 4-5 with five RBIs and one run scored. In his last 10 games, Baldwin is batting an outstanding .564 at the plate.

The GreenJackets also sent one deep in the game. Jeffry Parra provided the fireworks with a solo home run in the sixth inning. This was part of his 2-4 day where he drove in 2 RBIs.

This weekend, the GreenJackets wore alternate pink jerseys that were auctioned off after the game. All proceeds will be donated to the Georgia Cancer Center.

The GreenJackets will be in action tomorrow at 7:05 pm against the Grasshoppers for game three of the four game series.

Tomorrow we will have Military Monday and reading program night #5. On the 15th, there will be Comfort Keepers Baseball Bingo and Education Day #2. Gates will open at 9 am!
