North Augusta, SC: The Augusta GreenJackets, South Atlantic League affiliate of San Francisco Giants, won 7-4 against the Lexington Legends on Thursday night.

The GreenJackets got off to a quick start with a two-run single by Ryan Kirby with the bases loaded. This was then followed up with a passed ball that scored Jacob Gonzalez from third base. The GreenJackets had a 3-0 lead after the first inning.
Lexington would respond with a run of their own in the top of the third, to make the score 3-1. In the fifth inning, Augusta would take control of the game. Heliot Ramos would lead off the inning with a solo home run to left field, his sixth of the season. Then with Manuel Geraldo at second base, Kirby would hit his 12th home run of the season to right field. The GreenJackets were not done in the inning, as Logan Baldwin knocked in Orlando Garcia from second base with two-outs. This was four runs in the inning, which gave the GreenJackets a 7-1 lead.
The Legends would go on to add three more runs over the remainder of the game, but that was not enough. The GreenJackets won game two of the series, 7-4. Augusta will go for the sweep tomorrow against Lexington at 7:05 pm.
