The greatness of Adam Oller continued on Wednesday. Oller had to work for five-innings as he threw 85 pitches, but he controlled the zone all night, and helped the Jackets respond after their loss in the series opener on Tuesday.

Tomorrow's Game: 7:05 PM vs Columbia Fireflies (New York Mets), Segra Park, Columbia, South Carolina

Pitching Matchup: (COL) RHP Simeon Woods-Richardson (1-8, 4.86 ERA) vs (AUG) RHP Gregory Santos (1-4, 2.84 ERA)

In the series finale, Gregory Santos will take the mound in a battle of two young prospects on the hill. Santos is the #7 prospect in the San Francisco Giants organization according to MLB.com. Santos, the hard-throwing right-hander, has gone six-innings in each of his last two starts. Since returning from his shoulder strain back in April, he has made five starts and pitched 25-innings. During that stretch, he has an ERA of 2.16. Santos was acquired by the Giants in 2017 when San Francisco traded Eduardo Nunez to the Boston Red Sox. The Giants received Santos and pitcher Shaun Anderson in the trade.

Simeon Woods-Richardson makes the start for the Fireflies on Thursday. Woods-Richardson is the #7 overall prospect in the New York Mets organization, and is only 18 years old. He was a 2nd round pick in 2018 and was selected 48th overall. The right-hander has not gone more than five-innings in any start this year.
