SRP Park Will Play Host to High School Baseball Showcase

Westminster and Augusta Christian set to square off Tuesday, March 5th

NORTH AUGUSTA, SC: The Augusta GreenJackets, South Atlantic League affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, will host the SRP Park High School Showcase on Tuesday, March 5th as the Westminster School of Augusta Wildcats take on the Augusta Christian Lions. First pitch is slated for 6:00 p.m. The matchup will signify the first baseball game at SRP Park in 2019 as the GreenJackets inch closer to Opening Day. Augusta Christian will be the designated home team in the first SRP Park High School Showcase Game.

"We are excited to welcome Augusta Christian and Westminster School of Augusta to play at SRP Park," stated GreenJackets Vice President Tom Denlinger. "We invite the CSRA to come out and cheer on these schools as they get an opportunity to play in one of the top baseball facilities in the southeast!"
Tickets for the game cost $10 and will be available when gates open at 5:30 p.m. Fans who purchase a ticket for the game will get a "2-for-1" deal. With every purchase of a high school ticket, fans will also receive a ticket to a GreenJackets game on their designated game day, at SRP Park.
The GreenJackets will have the Hive Pro Shop open with specials and also new merchandise for the 2019 season. The GreenJackets will be running concessions, and fans can enjoy ballpark fare while enjoying the SRP Park High School Showcase.
