BIG MOMENTS

  • Wilmington crossed three runs in the third and fourth innings to take a 6-0 lead against Alec Kisena and the Brooklyn Cyclones.
  • Blake Tiberi smashed a home run off the foul poul down the right field line in the top of the sixth to cut the Cyclones deficit to 6-4. Tiberi had doubled earlier and scored on Cody Bohanek’s two-run single in the fifth*. *
  • Francisco Alvarez doubled in the sixth and again in the eighth, but was thrown out at third base trying to extend it to a triple to lead off the inning.
