The journey from NY to pro ball is always difficult, especially going straight from high school. But, Jaylen made it look easy - leading the K-Mets in HR in his first full year.
Carlos Cortes can hit. He has since the Mets drafted him in 2018 out of South Carolina. However, he recently had the experience of playing in Australia during the COVID-19 Pandemic when the country's levels were wildly lower than the United States.
