Eduardo Núñez - Manager
- Begins his seventh season in the organization, his third in Brooklyn, and first as the Cyclones' manager.
- Served as the Cyclones and Gilbert Gómez's bench coach in 2025, helping Brooklyn capture it's third championship and first South Atlantic League title.
- Worked as the Cyclones' hitting coach during the 2024 campaign...Also worked as the hitting coach at Single-A St. Lucie in 2023.
- Served as hitting coach for the Florida Complex League Mets and Dominican Summer League Mets2 in 2022 and 2021, respectively...Joined the Mets’ organization during the 2020 season as a video intern.
- Was the video coordinator and analytics assistant for Team Puerto Rico during the 2023 World Baseball Classic.
- During the winter, serves as third base and infield coach with Gigantes de Carolina in the Puerto Rican Winter League (LBPRC).
- Selected by the Montréal Expos in the 18th round of the 2003 MLB Draft out of the American Military Academy in Guaynabo, P.R.
- Spent four seasons in the Expos, Washington Nationals, and Kansas City Royals organizations...Registered a slash line of .209/.308/.286 with a .594 OPS in 145 games...Reached as high as the South Atlantic League’s Single-A Savannah in 2004 and 2005.
- Resides in Puerto Rico with his wife, Vanessa López, and their two daughters, Viveca and Vianna.
Dallas Burke - Bench Coach
- Enters his second season with the Mets organization and his first with the Brooklyn Cyclones.
- Spent the 2025 season as the bench coach and assistant hitting coach for the Florida Complex League Mets.
- Before joining the professional ranks, Burke coached at the collegiate level at Dartmouth University (2023-24), Penn State University (2019-23), West Virginia University (2018), and Bowling Green State University (2017)...Also served as an assistant coach, recruiting coordinator, and camp coordinator at Black Hawk College (Moline, Ill.) from 2014-16.
- Played college baseball at the University of Iowa during his freshman and sophomore years (2008-10) before transferring to Missouri Southern State University (Joplin, Mo.) for his junior and senior seasons (2010-13).
- Named to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team in 2009 after hitting .293/.405/.402/.807, with 22 runs scored, six extra-base hits, two home runs, and 12 RBI in 35 games for the Hawkeyes.
- Was a two-time All-MIAA selection at Missouri Southern, posting a .367/.453/.491/.944 slash line with 77 runs scored, 28 extra-base knocks, six homers, and 51 RBI in 99 contests.
- Played one season of professional baseball with the Independent Roswell (N.M.) Invaders of the Pecos League...Hit at a .348/.430/.545/.976 clip with two home runs and 13 RBI in 21 games.
- Dad, Mike, played college football as a defensive end at the University of Iowa (1984-88).
Luis Alvarado - Pitching Coach
- Begins his fifth season in the Mets organization and first on the Cyclones' coaching staff.
- Served as the pitching coach with Single-A St. Lucie during the 2025 season...Helped guide St. Lucie to a Florida State League-best 77-53 record and 3.59 ERA (453 ER in 1117.0 IP).
- Spent the 2023 and 2024 seasons as the pitching coach for the Florida Complex League Mets...Worked as a life skills specialist at the Mets' Florida Complex in Port St. Lucie during the 2022 campaign.
- Selected by the Los Angeles Angels in the 17th round of the 2018 MLB Draft out of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln...Pitched three seasons in the Angels' farm system from 2018-21.
- Tallied a 7-13 record over 64 games (18 starts) in the minors...Posted a career 4.40 ERA (79 ER in 161.2 IP) with two saves and 183 strikeouts...Reached High-A Tri-City in 2021.
- Played four years of college baseball as a two-way player at Nebraska...Earned Big Ten All-Freshman honors as an outfielder in 2015, hitting .303/.370/.404/.774 with a home run and 11 RBI in 35 games.
- Drafted on three occasions...Selected by the Seattle Mariners in the 13th round of the 2017 MLB Draft out of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, but did not sign...Initially taken by the Boston Red Sox in the 33rd round of the 2014 MLB Draft out of the Puerto Rico Baseball Academy (Gurabo, P.R.), but did not sign.
Devin DeYoung - Hitting Coach
- Enters his second season with the Mets organization and his first with the Brooklyn Cyclones.
- Spent the 2025 campaign as Single-A St. Lucie's hitting coach...Helped oversee an offense that finished with the Florida State League-best 77-53 record...St. Lucie finished second in the FSL in runs scored (692) and stolen bases (282), third in batting average (.245), and fourth in OPS (.706).
- Worked five seasons in the Chicago White Sox organization from 2020-24...Served as the farm system's Hitting Initiatives Coordinator for two seasons (2023-24) and another two campaigns as the Arizona Complex League team's hitting coach (2021-22)...Was scheduled to serve as Double-A Birmingham's bench coach in 2020 before the minor league season was cancelled.
- Served as the bench coach for the Boston Red Sox's High-A Greenville in 2019.
- Coached several seasons in independent baseball...Worked as the bench and hitting coach for the Windy City Thunderbolts of the Frontier League from 2017-18...Served as a player and coach for the Rockland Boulders (Pomona, N.Y.) in the then-Canadian-American Baseball League during the 2015 season.
