Bisons Rank 8th in Attendance

Club ranks in top five percent in minor leagues

The Buffalo Bisons finished in the top five percent of all minor league baseball teams in attendance during the 2010 season.

The Herd drew 575,296 fans to Coca-Cola Field over 70 home dates for an 8,219 per-game average. Both the total and per-game average ranked 8th among 176 minor league clubs.

The Bisons 2010 total was 45,507 higher than their year-end total for the 2009 campaign. The per-game average increased nearly 200 fans a game.

Friday nights continue to be the marquee place for Western New Yorkers to begin their summer weekends. The Bisons were a perfect 9-0 at Coca-Cola Field during fridaynightbash!® games in 2010 with an average of 11,000 fans enjoying a night of great baseball and spectacular fireworks.

The Bisons top attended game in 2010 was the 16th annual Independence Eve Celebration with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus with 17,527 coming out on July 3.
