Cougars Clip Kernels Tuesday

Diaz flipped the score on Cedar Rapids (20-20), which previously held a 7-6 advantage dating back to the sixth.
Early in Tuesday's tilt, the Kernels jumped out to a 6-0 lead.
The Cougars rallied during their half of the third and later tied the contest, 6-6, in the fifth. Kane County's five-run third-inning rally was capped by a three-run homer from Diaz. The game-tying run during the fifth came when Diaz scored on a wild pitch.
This four-game series continues with an 11:00 a.m. contest Wednesday at Northwestern Medicine Field. Kernels right-hander
