KERNELS AND CUBS CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER SATURDAY EVENING

Cedar Rapids, IA – Saturday game, September 10, has been cancelled. Tonight’s game, on Sept. 10th qualifies as an official rain out. Sunday, September 11th UPDATE: Sunday’s final game of the 2022 regular season between the Cubs and Kernels will be a 9-inning game starting at 2:05 PM (gates opening

Sunday, September 11th UPDATE: Sunday’s final game of the 2022 regular season between the Cubs and Kernels will be a 9-inning game starting at 2:05 PM (gates opening at 1:05 PM). The Kernels Ticket Office will open at 10:00 AM Sunday, September 11th.

Cedar Rapids and South Bend will play for the Midwest League’s Western Division title next week, when the playoffs begin on Tuesday, September 13th. The Kernels will host game two on Thursday September 15th and, if necessary, the deciding game of the best-of-three series on Friday, September 16th. Playoff tickets for September 15th are on sale now through the Kernels’ ticket office.
