MIDLAND, Texas (June 8, 2019) - After a couple shaky starts, Tyler Phillips turned in six impressive frames Saturday night but the Riders fell short in a 3-1 loss to Midland.

* Phillips allowed all three of his runs in the third. Outside of that inning, he allowed just two hits.
* Matt Bush made his 2019 debut with a perfect eighth inning.
* The Riders collected their only run on an RBI double from Michael De Leon in the seventh.

* Tyler Phillips: 6 IP, 5 H, 3 ER, 1 BB, 6 K
* Matt Bush: 1 IP, 0 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, 1 K
* Michael De Leon: 2-for-4, 2B, RBI

* Preston Beck had two hits Saturday and his batting .400 (10-for-25) on the current road trip.
