Game Two of Series Postponed

GreenJackets and Fireflies to Play Doubleheader on Saturday

Augusta, GA-Game two of the four-game series between the Augusta GreenJackets and the Columbia Fireflies has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game will be made up on Saturday evening as part of a doubleheader. Fans who had tickets to Friday night's game will be able to exchange them for any remaining game in the 2017 season with the exception of the game on September 4.

First pitch for game one of Saturday's doubleheader is scheduled for 5:05pm with the gates opening at 4:30pm. There will be a pre-game concert by local CSRA Artist Tom Reed as part of the Saturday Concert Series. It is also Boy Scout Night featuring Post-Game Fireworks, Post-Game Kids-Run-The-Bases, and Boy Scouts being able to spend the night on the field after the doubleheader.

Stephen Woods (6-7, 3.39) will start on the mound for the GreenJackets in game one against Chase Ingram (1-2, 2.35) for the Fireflies. Jose Morel (2-1, 3.70) will start in game two for the GreenJackets against (Marty Anderson (0-0, 9.00) for the Fireflies.
