Pink in the Park Jerseys Available at the Hive

About 40,000 people will die from breast cancer in 2014. With such a staggering statistic the Augusta GreenJackets dedicated a night to help raise awareness about breast cancer. 

On May 3rd, 2014, the GreenJackets and GR Health teamed up for the annual Pink in the Park Night! Together, both the GreenJackets and GR Health, were able to show support for breast cancer awareness at Lake Olmstead Stadium. 

As fans entered the gates that night, they received pink hats courtesy of GR Health. The entire stadium was covered in fans wearing pink outfits and hats! To show support the GreenJackets wore custom pink jerseys for their game against the Greenville Drive.

The team's jerseys were then auctioned off after the game. Fans were able to bid on their favorite players jersey. After the game the fans that won were able to go onto the field and have that player sign their jersey. While most of the jersey's were sold, there are still a few game worn jersey's available for purchase at the Hive! 

A game worn jersey that is not autographed is available for $75 and a jersey that is autographed available for $80. The team was happy to promote breast cancer awareness as well as support those who are battling or have fought breast cancer.
