RiverDogs Pull Away from GreenJackets

Augusta, GA-The Charleston RiverDogs used a four run ninth to turn a low scoring pitcher's duel into a rout with a 6-2 victory over the GreenJackets Sunday evening at Lake Olmstead Stadium. The loss snapped the GreenJackets five game winning streak.

With one out in the top of the sixth, Vince Conde hit a solo home run to put Charleston up 1-0.
With the score 2-1 in the ninth, the RiverDogs began to add insurance when
Trailing 2-0, the GreenJackets added a run in the bottom of the eighth to trim the deficit in half.
The GreenJackets will be back in action Monday night against the RiverDogs for the final game of the season and the final game ever at Lake Olmstead Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05pm with the gates opening at 5:00pm. The Last Game Celebration is presented by WRDW News 12 WAGT 26.
