Reedy River Rivalry Returns to Greenville, with new pre-game Fan Fest

The Drive is releasing a limited number of Lawn and Deck tickets for the rivalry. Tickets are $18 and available for purchase HERE.

Please note that Lawn and Deck tickets are not traditional seats found throughout the stadium and you will not have a designated seat at the game. Lawn and Deck tickets are good for the TD Bank Family Terrace (located down the left-field line, next to section 101), as well as standing areas along the main concourse. Seating on the TD Bank Family Terrace is first-come, first-serve, and Lawn & Deck ticket holders are encouraged to arrive early to Fluor Field.

The South Carolina Gamecocks and Clemson Tigers renew the premier rivalry in college baseball as they match up in the Reedy River Rivalry presented by ScanSource on March 4 at Fluor Field. Beyond the game itself, which brings thousands to Downtown Greenville, this year’s game will include a ramped up pregame atmosphere. The Drive will host the Reedy River Rivalry Fan Fest on District 356 beginning at 10 AM with food trucks, live music, tailgate games, TVs, inflatables and more.

Game Notes:

The game returns to Downtown Greenville for the first time since 2021 and will be at full capacity for the first time since 2019 after COVID-19 altered the attendance capabilities in 2021. The 2023 edition of the rivalry is the 11th time the two teams have met in Downtown Greenville. The series in Downtown Greenville is split with both teams notching five wins.

The rivalry often brings some of the largest crowds to Fluor Field and Downtown Greenville. The 2019 game drew 7,432 attendees to the stadium -- the 7th largest baseball crowd in Fluor Field history.

_Reedy River Rivalry Fan Fest _
Hosted by the Drive and FREE for all ages, the Fan Fest will give a boosted atmosphere to an already thrilling pre-game environment complete with food, drinks, live music, shopping and tailgate games throughout District 356.

Food and Drinks:
The Fan Fest will be anchored by three stellar and local food vendors -- Hip Burger, The Bellwether, and Project Host and flanked by the Bud Light Bar.

Hip Burger: The SC-based burger joint will bring its famous food truck and serve up its “edible form of art.”
The Bellwether: Opening soon in its location just steps from Fluor Field, the upscale pub will be serving its take on classic pub grub.
Project Host: The HostMobile food truck is a Project Host social enterprise that focuses on paying it forward and will bring a variety of selections from its always updating menu.

Live Music and Entertainment:

No atmosphere is complete without a soundtrack and this year’s Fan Fest will be bolstered by the sounds of the The Brooks Dixon Band. Brooks, a Greenville native, began preforming original music as a student at Clemson in 2012. After graduation he formed the five-piece band which performs throughout Greenville and the Upstate.

Beyond the stage, the event will include plenty of tailgate games and inflatables and be adorned with 100-inch TVs streaming the game inside the stadium.

Shopping:

Both Clemson and South Carolina will host their respective merchandise displays, with opportunity to be outfitted for the big game in the latest team apparel. The Drive Team Store will also occupy a shopping spot in the District complete with Reedy River Rivalry branded apparel and novelties as well as Drive and local South Carolina pieces.

Fluor Field Bag Policy:

To provide a safer environment for the public and expedite fan entry into Fluor Field, Greenville Drive policy limits and restricts the size and type of bags that are permitted into the stadium during Drive games, collegiate and high school games, and any other in-stadium public event.

The Drive encourage fans not to bring any bags, however, the following will be permitted:

• Clear bags and backpacks are permitted
• Medical Bags no larger than what is required to transport necessary medical equipment
• Diaper Bags for fans that are accompanied by infant(s)
• Small, Single Compartment Clutches no larger than 5x9 inches

Parking and Trolley Service

Ample parking is available at County Square, located on University Ridge off Church Street, just a few blocks from Fluor Field. Trolley service will be available from County Square and will run continuously throughout the day.
