POSTPONED - Friday's Party in the Park Event Postponed to September 4th

LAKEWOOD, NJ – Friday’s Party in the Park fireworks event, presented by RWJBarnabas Health, the NJEA and APP.com, has been postponed due to expected severe weather and will now take place at the previously-scheduled rain date of Friday, September 4th at the same scheduled time of 7:00 pm.

The BlueClaws consulted with local officials, the fire marshal’s office, and the fireworks provider before the decision, which was made in the interest of safety of all involved.

“While certainly we hoped to hold the event on Friday, the forecast at the time we needed to make the decision called for heavy rains and thunderstorms at the scheduled time of the event," said BlueClaws Team President Joe Ricciutti.

"Our goal is to provide all guests with a first-class event. The combination of severe weather and responsibly managing social distancing guidelines and the overall safety of our fans prevents us from hosting this event at a level at which our fans deserve."

Ticket Information

Fans are instructed to bring their tickets from Friday to the re-scheduled event on September 4th. They will still be valid at the event.

Parking lot and entry times will not change from scheduled.

· Those with in-park tickets can arrive in the lot beginning at 6:30 pm and the stadium will open at 7:00 pm.

After the Reign will perform from 7:30 pm until 9:30 pm.

Fans are also instructed to bring a mask.
