Aberdeen (43-20) is now 13-2 against Jersey Shore (24-39) this season.

The BlueClaws jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead in the first inning. Carlos De La Cruz, who made the last out in Aberdeen's no-hitter on Saturday, singled on the first pitch leading off in the first. After a walk and a single, Rixon Wingrove was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to open the scoring. DJ Stewart followed with a two-run double to make it 3-0.

While Jersey Shore didn't add to their lead then, they did scored twice in the second on an RBI single by Wilson and an RBI double by Wingrove.

Aberdeen got two in the third and two in the fourth to get back in the game.

Then in the seventh, Coby Mayo hit a two-run home run off Jason Ruffcorn to give Aberdeen their first lead of the day. It was Mayo's 12t home run of the season, seven of which have come against Jersey Shore.

After Aberdeen added a run in the eighth for an 8-6 lead, the BlueClaws got a run back in the eighth on an RBI single from Uziel Viloria. They had two on with one out but Jake Prizina struck out Carlos De La Cruz and got Ethan Wilson to fly to right field to end the inning.

Jersey Shore threatened again in the ninth, putting two on, but Gregori Vasquez struck out Baron Radcliff with runners at second and third to end the game.

The BlueClaws head to Brooklyn and open a series there Tuesday. Their next home game is on July 4th against Hudson Valley.
