Ballpark Guide

PROHIBITED ITEMS

Aerosol cans, Air Horns, Baseball Bats (full-sized), Cameras with lenses that fully extend to larger than 12", Cans, Chairs, Confetti, Drums, Firearms (regardless of concealed carry permit), Flares, Flying Discs, Beach Balls, Food and Drink (exception is one bottle water in clear plastic bottle per person), Illegal Substances, Laser Pointers, Pressurized Containers (that are not medical used for medical reasons), Pyrotechnics or Incendiary devices of any kind, Smoke Bombs, Streamers, Wagons, Weapons of any kind (knives, tasers, etc), Whistles, any item that can be used as a projectile or deemed dangerous.

ALCOHOL POLICY

Any customer wishing to purchase alcohol products MUST be at least 21 years of age. Louisville Slugger Field reserves the right to request the identification of anyone who attempts to purchase alcohol, as well as at any time during the event. The sale of alcohol stops at the end of the seventh inning. By law, all alcohol MUST remain inside the stadium. Louisville Slugger Field’s servers reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

Any patron purchasing alcohol for minors will be prosecuted, as well as those consuming alcohol that are under the legal drinking age. Should you be caught consuming alcohol under the legal drinking age, the alcohol will be confiscated, and you will be further dealt with by the Louisville Police Department.

Fans reaching high levels of intoxication, or those acting in a disruptive manner, detrimental to the experience of other fans, will be removed from the stadium. Intervention with unruly, impaired, or intoxicated guests will be handled promptly and safely.

ATM MACHINES

For your convenience, there are ATM machines located in the Hall of Fame area just outside the West and East gates of the stadium.

AUTOGRAPHS

Fans are permitted to seek autographs up to 30 minutes prior to the start of the game. No autographs are permitted during or after the game.

BAGS

Bringing bags (other than purses and diaper bags) in the stadium is strongly discouraged, however small bags, backpacks, and briefcases are permitted into Louisville Slugger Field. All bags are subject to being inspected by security and tagged. If a guest refuses an inspection of their bag, they will not be permitted into the stadium. For quicker access to the ballpark, we encourage fans to not bring bags into the stadium and use our no bag security lines.

BANNERS & SIGNS

Signs and banners are permitted at Louisville Slugger Field. All fans must follow the guidelines below:

1. Do not place banners/signs in the eyesight of the batter and/or hanging over the outfield fence.

2. Banners should in no way infringe on the sightlines of other fans.

3. Banners/signs may not be placed anywhere inside the playing field, be commercial, political, derogatory or obscene as determined by DBH Louisville, LLC dba Louisville Bats.

4. Signs must not utilize wood or metal material or other types of objects for support.

BAT BUCKS

Bats Bucks are gift certificates that spend like cash. They are available in increments of $5. They are redeemable for concessions or in the team store. They are redeemable at any time during the season as well as in the gift shop during home games.

BOTTLES AND CANS

No glass bottles or cans may be brought into Louisville Slugger Field. Guests are welcome to bring in one bottle of water provided it is in a clear plastic bottle and the safety seal has not been broken. Insulated foam cups/containers from restaurants, convenience stores or gas stations, etc. are not permitted in Louisville Slugger Field.

BREASTFEEDING

Mothers who would like access to a private place to breastfeed may request accommodations at the Information Booth located behind section 117. A Bats representative will provide access to a secure and private location for moms and their babies.

BROADCASTING

All Louisville Bats home and road games can be heard live on 1450 AM and 96.1 FM The Big X.

BUDDY BAT

Buddy Bat is the official mascot of the Louisville Bats. You can see Buddy at all home games.

CAMERAS & VIDEO EQUIPMENT

Guests are welcome to bring cameras and video recorders into the ballpark for personal use. Guests are requested to avoid standing in the aisles while using this equipment. Guests should not obstruct the views of others while taking pictures and should refrain from using tri-pods, monopods and other camera support pods. The Louisville Baseball Club reserves the right to remove any guests that do not cooperate with this policy.

CHAIRS

There are no lawn chairs or any chairs with seatbacks allowed in Louisville Slugger Field. Fans will be asked to return chairs back to vehicles. DBH Louisville, LLC dba Louisville Bats are not responsible for watching chairs or any other items for fans.

CHILDREN’S TICKETS

Children two and under are not required to have a ticket for admission to Louisville Bats games. Children ages 3-12 receive a $1 discount off the adult ticket price (excludes Grand Slam tickets and Thunder Over Louisville tickets). Children’s discount may not be combined with any other discount or coupon offer.

CONCEALED WEAPONS

Pursuant to Kentucky Law, no person, including anyone licensed to carry a concealed handgun, shall knowingly possess, have under the person’s control, convey, or attempt to convey a deadly weapon or dangerous ordnance onto these premises, unless otherwise authorized by law.

CONCESSIONS

Sodexo operates the food and beverage stands throughout Louisville Slugger Field. For information on concessions and other services that Sodexo provides please call (502) 614-4508.

COOLERS

Coolers are not permitted inside Louisville Slugger Field. Fans will be asked to return coolers of any kind back to their vehicles.

CREDIT CARD POLICY

All major credit cards are accepted at the Louisville Slugger Field ticket windows, gift shops and main concession stands.

DIAPER CHANGING STATIONS

Baby changing tables are available in all public and family restrooms at Louisville Slugger Field.

DISABLED ACCESS

The Bats are committed to providing every guest with a comfortable and enjoyable experience at the ballpark. Wheelchair seating is available along with handicapped ramps and elevators to provide easy access. All wheel chair seating is based on availability.

DONATION REQUESTS

All donation requests must be made online by filling out our online donation requests form. Fans wishing to request a donation may visit www.milb.com/louisville/community/donations.

FOOD

Outside food and drinks are not allowed into the stadium, with the exception of one clear unopened plastic bottle of water per person. There are many food options in the stadium as well as Against the Grain Smokehouse Brewery and Restaurant outside the main concourse. Baby food items and medical supplies are permitted, please inform the gate attendant upon arrival.

ELEVATORS

For the convenience of our guests, there is an elevator located in the suite lobby behind home plate. The elevator only allows for access to the second level.

ENTRANCE LOCATIONS

Guests can enter Louisville Slugger Field at the following entrances:

EAST GATE ENTRANCE

Located on the East Side of the Hall of Fame closest to the season ticket parking lot. Guests entering here will be on the concourse near the first base side of the stadium.

WEST GATE ENTRANCE

Located on the West Side of the Hall of Fame closest to Preston Street. Guests entering here will be on the concourse near the third base side.

SUITE AND CLUB SEATS ENTRANCE

Located in the middle of the Hall of Fame closest to Main Street. This entrance is for Suite, Club level, and On-Deck ticketed fans only. Guests entering here can take the elevator or stairwell to the club and suite level.

WITHERSPOON GATE ENTRANCE

Located on the corner of Preston and Witherspoon Street. Guests entering here will be on the concourse near left center field and the lawn seating.

FAMILY RESTROOMS

There are 2 family restrooms located in Louisville Slugger Field. You can find a family restroom on the lower level of the main concourse near the concession stand in centerfield. There is also one family restroom upstairs in the hallway outside suites 13-17.

FIRST AID STATION

The first aid station is located on the concourse behind section 118 (near the West gate). There are trained medical personnel provided by ALPHA at all home games to assist fans with any medical procedure or emergency.

FOUL BALLS

Guests are welcome to keep any foul ball hit into the stands. At no time should a foul ball or home run ball be thrown back on the field. Violators will be subject to ejection. Any guest interfering with a ball in play will be subject to ejection from the ballpark. Any guest going onto the playing field will be ejected from the ballpark and will be subject to arrest and prosecution. Guests assume all risks and dangers incidental to the game of baseball, whether occurring prior to, during or subsequent to the actual playing of the game; including without limitation, injury from thrown bats, thrown or batted balls and spectator conduct.

GATES OPEN

Gates open one hour and five minutes prior to game time. Gate opening time may change for special circumstances to be determined by the Louisville Baseball Club.

GIFT CARDS

Bats Gift Cards can be purchased in any amount of $5 or more. Gift cards can be purchased at the ticket kiosk behind section 115 and can be used at concessions or the Louisville Bats Team Store and have no expiration.

GROUP OUTINGS

HALL OF FAME (climate-controlled area)

The Hall of Fame is the main portion of the outer concourse of Louisville Slugger Field. Built over 100 years ago as a train warehouse, the Hall of Fame is now an air-conditioned venue used for hosting catered groups. You will find pictures and memorabilia from Louisville Baseball history, championship banners, Against the Grain restaurant. The Hall of Fame is a large open space that can be rented out for private parties and events.

HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE PARKING

Handicap accessible parking is available in the stadium parking lot located off of Jackson Street. All parking is subject to availability.

HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE SEATING

Handicap accessible seating is available in numerous sections of the lower bowl and club level of Louisville Slugger Field. To purchase handicap accessible seats, please call the Bats Ticket Office directly at 1-855-228-8497.

HUMANA CABANA

The Humana Cabana is located just beyond the right field wall. There you will find a three-tiered, covered deck with picnic tables available. INFORMATION BOOTH

The information booth can be found on the concourse behind section 117. This is where you can find any information about the Louisville Bats and Slugger Field.

INTERFERENCE

Spectators may not interfere with balls in the field of play. Fans must give way to the players when they are pursuing a ball. Anyone in violation of this policy will face possible ejection from the stadium.

KIDS CLUB

The Kids Club is for Bats fans 12 years of age and under. Kids Club members receive a membership card that is valid for a free Field Reserved seat to all Bats Sunday home games (must be accompanied by a paying adult) plus other exclusive giveaway items. LOST AND FOUND

You can inquire about lost and found items at the Information Booth (located behind section 117) during games or by calling the office Mon - Fri, 9:00-5:00 at (502) 212-2287. The Louisville Bats are not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

MAJOR LEAGUE AFFILIATION

The Louisville Bats are the proud Triple-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds.

MILITARY DISCOUNT

Active Duty military, Reserve, National Guard and veterans with a valid veteran service organization ID card or DD 214 receive a $2 discount off the adult ticket prices (excludes Grand Slam tickets and Thunder Over Louisville tickets). Military discount may not be combined with any other discount or coupon offer.

MILLER TIME TAPHOUSE

The Miller Time Taphouse is located behind the right center field wall. Here you can find a full-service bar, corn hole boards, and a concession stand. The Miller Time Taphouse is a great place for socializing with a view of the game. This space is available to any fan with a valid ticket.

PARKING

Louisville Slugger Field has one main parking lot primarily for full season ticket holders on the East side of the stadium. This lot is opened up to the general public fifteen minutes before game time. However, there is ample parking available around the stadium. There is a large pay lot on the West Side of the stadium on Preston Street. There are two garages that are available within walking distance. One is located on Witherspoon Street, and the other is located on Washington Street, between Floyd and Brook Street. There is also street parking available after 6PM on weekdays and anytime on the weekends.

PLAYGROUND

The Norton Children’s Hospital playground is located in the right field area of the stadium. The playground is free for all kids that meet the specific height requirements. The playground is a “play at your own risk” area and DBH Louisville, LLC dba Louisville Bats assumes no responsibility for children who choose to play on the playground.

RAIN POLICY

In the event that 5 innings of one game are not played, except when the home team is in the lead at the end of 4 1/2 innings, your ticket will be good for any regular season home game pending ticket availability. Your ticket may be exchanged for a ticket of equal or lesser value, subject to availability, by either mailing or presenting your ticket to the Louisville Bats Box Office. You may not redeem your ticket for cash. Complimentary tickets are not exchangeable.

RESTROOMS

Restrooms are located throughout the entire ballpark. There are men’s and women’s restrooms located at the Overlook Deck, as well as the homeplate, first and third base concourses. There are also men’s and women’s restrooms on first and third base side of the club level. Family restrooms are available at the Overlook Deck and in the club level.

SECURITY

In order to make Louisville Slugger Field a safe place for everyone, all fans will be asked to walk through a metal detector before entering the stadium. All containers, bags, backpacks, camera bags, purses, etc. will be inspected upon entry into the ballpark. When arriving at a gate, please have all phones, wallet, keys, and anything metal out of your pockets and in your hands as you approach the security checkpoint. For fans entering with no bags, we advise you use our no bag security lines for faster access to the ballpark. Please refer to the list of prohibited items on the Ballpark Guide for all items that are not permitted into Louisville Slugger Field. If any prohibited items are discovered at our gates, security will ask that these be returned to your vehicle or throw them away. Prohibited items will not be accepted by employees nor stored at the gates or Guest Relations. For the comfort and security of all our guests, Bats management reserves the right to not allow hazardous or disruptive items (i.e. obtrusive noise makers, etc.) into Louisville Slugger Field.

SENIOR DISCOUNT

Seniors 65 years of age and older receive a $2 discount off the normal adult ticket price (excludes Grand Slam tickets and Thunder Over Louisville tickets). Senior discount may not be combined with any other discount of coupon offer.

SMOKING POLICY

Louisville Slugger Field is a non-smoking facility. No smoking or vaping is allowed within the ballpark. Please ask an usher for assistance for where to smoke outside the ballpark.

STROLLERS

Strollers are permitted in Louisville Slugger Field, but are not allowed down the stairs in the seating bowl. We ask families to park the stroller at the top of the section in an area that will not obstruct the sight or path of other fans. Wagons are not permitted at Louisville Slugger Field.

TEAM STORE

The team store is located in Louisville Slugger Field and is open during all home games. The hours of the team store during the season on non-game days is Monday - Friday 11-4.

TICKET SCALPING & SELLING

You may not sell or hand out free tickets anywhere on the Slugger Field property, including the parking lot, sidewalks, and Hall of Fame. DBH Louisville, LLC dba Louisville Bats reserves the right to confiscate any tickets that are being scalped or sold by anyone other than the ticket sellers at the windows.

TOUCH OF COLOR STADIUM CLUB (climate-controlled area)

The Touch of Color Stadium Club is located on the suite and club seat level of the stadium. Only club level ticket holders and suite holders have access to the bar during games. Based on customer usage each night, the bar may remain open after games for the general public to use. There is no smoking in the Touch of Color Stadium Club

TOURS

Bats fans of all ages have the opportunity to enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at Louisville Slugger Field along with a historical look at baseball in Louisville. Fan-friendly Slugger Field offers more amenities and entertainment options than any other minor league ballpark in the country.

Tours start with a minimum of 25 guests at $10 per person and must be scheduled at least two-weeks in advance.

UMBRELLAS

Umbrellas are allowed, but they cannot be opened in the seating bowl if they obstruct the view of anyone sitting around or behind you.

WATER FOUNTAINS

There are water fountains located by each of the large restrooms on the club level and the lower level. You can find refillable water bottle stations at each of the large restroom on the lower level. Thanks to Louisville Water Company for providing the artwork.

WILL CALL

Will Call is located just inside the East Gate Entrance of the ballpark (close to Against the Grain restaurant) and opens one hour and five minutes prior to first pitch. You must show your ID when picking up will call tickets
