Beer & Baseball is a Myrtle Beach Pelicans Podcast hosted by Adam Dellinger of the 107.9 Gator Morning Show. Episode 9: Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum

In this episode Adam geeks out a bit as he sits down with Jon Shestakofsky, Vice President, Communications & Education at National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. The pair talk about everything from artifacts to induction speeches, and how the Hall is so much more than the plaques on the wall. The Hall is the repository of baseball history - it contains over 40,000 3D artifacts, a museum dedicated to the history of the game and its important stories and more. One of these artifacts is the Pelicans’ 2018 American Sign Language jersey.

Saying that a year without minor league baseball is bummer is a total understatement, but now Ryan and the team, as well as may throughout the industry, have turned their focus to 2021...and some creative merchandise.

In this episode, Adam sits down with one of the most recognizable names and faces in Minor League Baseball…Todd “Parney” Parnell (VP & COO of the Richmond Flying Squirrels) and his daughter Sammy (Pelicans Sponsorship Execution Coordinator). This one gets real folks. This is a father/daughter MiLB duo and it’s awesome! Parney talks about raising his kids at the ballpark and Sammy share some of her fondest memories and life lessons learned along the way.
