Team Color

The Sounds "remastered" look features three prominent colors: red, white & navy. Not only classicly American, these colors are also inspired by important elements of our past and present.

The Colors That Started It All:

In 1978, the Nashville Sounds were introduced to Nashville as the city's only professional sports team. The club wore uniforms colored in red, white and blue to establish the iconic look that is by far our most popular throwback logo and jersey set. It was important that the "remastered" look pay homage to the original colors. Navy was introduced to replace the previous black team color and modernize the original 1978 blue stylings.

The State That Calls Nashville Its Capital:

It's hard to drive through any neighborhood or community in Nashville and not see a Tennessee State Flag prominently displayed on a porch or apartment window. The regional pride for the state is another area of inspiration used to direct us to the colors of red, white and navy.
