R-Phils Unveil Opening Night Promotions

First Opportunity to Purchase Tickets for April 9th Runs Today Through Sunday

(Reading, PA) - Fightin Phils fans will have their first chance to purchase tickets for Opening Night, set to take place on Thursday, April 9th, with special ticket deals available from Thursday, January 16th through Sunday, January 19th as the countdown to the 54th season of R-Phils baseball begins at

(Reading, PA) - Fightin Phils fans will have their first chance to purchase tickets for Opening Night, set to take place on Thursday, April 9th, with special ticket deals available from Thursday, January 16th through Sunday, January 19th as the countdown to the 54th season of R-Phils baseball begins at FirstEnergy Stadium.
In celebration of the 70th Anniversary of America's Classic Ballpark, the first 3,500 adults in attendance on Opening Night will take home a 70th Anniversary Fleece Blanket, thanks to Penn State Health St. Joseph, Carpenter Technology, Feesers, and The Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School. One lucky fan will also win a free trip for two to Phillies Spring Training 2021 in Clearwater, FL, courtesy of White Star Tours & Travel Center and 830 AM WEEU.
Gates to the Tompkins VIST Bank Plaza will have a special early opening time of 4 p.m., with a pregame concert on the Good Life Financial Performance Stage.
Coming off a playoff appearance in 2019, the R-Phils will open the 2020 season at home on Thursday, April 9th with a 7:10 p.m. first pitch against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. Reading will be home for six games in seven days to open the year, with a three-game set versus New Hampshire Thursday, April 9th through Saturday, April 11th, followed by an off-day on Easter Sunday. Another three-game set against the Akron RubberDucks will take place Monday, April 13th through Wednesday, April 15th.
Fans can now purchase Green Box seats for Opening Night for just $7 (regular $10). This deal is only available through Sunday.
Waitress Service Loge Box seats are on sale for $14 this weekend (regular $17), and Ceremonial First Pitches are just $40 (regular $50).
