Albuquerque, NM. - The Reno Aces and Albuquerque Isotopes combined for 21 runs on 29 hits Sunday afternoon in an Isotopes victory. Reno added six runs between the seventh and ninth inning but wasn't able to mount the complete come-from-behind victory. A 10-run fifth inning propelled Albuquerque to their 23rd victory of the season and capturing a 3-1 series win. Aces starter Bradin Hagens was tagged for eight runs on seven hits in his third start of the season. The loss sends Reno to Fresno with a record of 18-26.
Both the Aces and Isotopes got into the scoring column in the first inning. Yasmany Tomás drove in the first run of the contest with a RBI groundout to score Ildemaro Vargas. Albuquerque responded with one of their own on a Josh Fuentes line drive to score Reno High alum Garrett Hampson. Reno would add another in the top of the third inning to take a 2-1 advantage before the tides would turn. The Isotopes rattled off 12 consecutive runs, 11 earned, to take a 13-2 advantage. Reno strung together six additional runs in the final three innings of play, but it was not enough to secure the win. The Aces will send RHP Jake Buchanan to the mound tomorrow evening in Fresno against the division-leading Grizzlies. The first pitch from Chukchansi Park is slated for 6:35 p.m.

Notes & Information
10 Spot: The Albuquerque 10-run 5th winning was the most runs scored against the Aces in a single inning since July 23, 2013 in Las Vegas. Opponents have accomplished this feat five times: today, 7/23/13, 4/14/13, 8/10/11, and 8/4/11. The most runs Reno has ever scored in a single inning is 11, which they accomplished on 6/21/10 vs. Fresno.
Rare, but True: Cody Decker made his second pitching appearance of the season this afternoon. The infielder tossed one inning, allowed two hits, one walk and did not allow a run. His last pitching appearance came on April 11 in Sacramento. On the year, Decker has 2.0 IP, 3 H, 1 ER and 2 BB.
