We reached out to some 2019 Reno Aces to see what they are doing to pass the time without baseball. To sum it up...they are doing exactly what we are all doing…waiting for baseball to come back.

Q: What have you been doing to pass the time at home?

RHP Taylor Clarke: “Just been enjoying the with my wife and kids and making the best of it. Been playing outside with them as much as possible and going on hikes. I’ve also been crushing some shows and kid shows with them.”

INF Kevin Cron: “Puzzles with my with my wife and Play Station.”

OF Ben DeLuzio: “I have been able to still knock out my hitting, throwing, and other baseball related activities in order to stay ready for the upcoming season. When I’m not doing that though, I am hanging out with the family and getting some fresh air and sun out on the lake.”

RHP Jon Duplantier: “A lot of dominoes and cards with my family, and Call of Duty with my buddies. Staying in shape the I can while respecting CDC guidelines and recommendations.”

RHP Connor Grey: “I’m trying to stay ready for the season whenever it starts back up. I’m throwing and working out just like it was the offseason leading up to the season.”

OF Tim Locastro: “I’ve been working out, playing video games more than I usually do, reading (which I usually never do) and cooking more than I normally do.”

RHP Damien Magnifico: Just responded with a photo of himself and two dogs – a follow up question revealed that he fosters dogs year-round and has become a full-time stay at home dog dad while he prepares for baseball to come back.

INF Wyatt Mathisen: “Lots and lots of video games! Hanging with the wife while watching everything on Netflix and Hulu.”

INF/OF Josh Rojas: “Honestly, not much. I’ve been training every morning, hitting a little bit after, then playing video games, ping pong, and pool.”

RHP Riley Smith: “I went back home to east Texas and I’m working out and throwing in the mornings. In the evenings, I’m helping my parents build their house. It’s a weird feeling being at home knowing you aren’t supposed to be.”

RHP Taylor Widener: “Right now I am trying to act like nothing is going in and still trying to get ready for the season, wishing I could be playing right now. Took a few days off to get the body back to 100% and now I’m back at it.”
