HOW IT HAPPENED:

The E-Train struck first behind an RBI single by 3B Diego Castillo in the bottom of the third. Albuquerque 2B Roc Riggio drove a run in with his base hit in the fourth, tying the game at one apiece.

Albuquerque grabbed a 2-1 edge in the top half of the fifth. 1B Charlie Condon doubled into the right field corner sending CF Drew Avans home from second.

Round Rock RF Aaron Zavala delivered the equalizer with his single in the bottom of the frame. CF Cam Cauley scored from second base, tying the game 2-2.

Cauley later broke the tie with a solo homer in the seventh, giving the E-Train a 3-2 advantage.

The Isotopes retook the lead on a two-run homer by 2B Roc Riggio in the eighth. Albuquerque RHP Blas Castaño retired Round Rock’s final four batters and earned the save in their 5-3 win.

OF AARON ZAVALA: is now 7-for-15 in 4 games against the Isotopes this week…is also slashing .322/.414/.525 with a team-leading 19 hits off of Albuquerque pitchers this season…in August, has posted a .306/.359/.518 slash line…has hit safely in 15 of 21 games this month, including base hits in 8 of his last 9.

CF CAM CAULEY: belted his team-leading 14^th home run in the bottom of the 7^th…has homered 6 times in his last 9 games…batting .395 (15-38) with 12 RBI in that span.

INF DIEGO CASTILLO: opened the scoring for Round Rock with an RBI single in the third…has now hit safely in 8 consecutive games and recorded an RBI in each of his last 5…is batting .327 (17-52) with 14 RBI in 14 games against the Isotopes this season.
