Express Senior Vice President Laura Fragoso Named Woman of the Year Finalist

ROUND ROCK, Texas - Round Rock Express Senior Vice President of Marketing Laura Fragoso has been named a Women of the Year finalist by Round Rock Living magazine for their inaugural Women of the ROCK Awards Gala. She was named a Women of the ROCK in the sports category in April.
"I'm beyond honored to be included with the other women being recognized," Fragoso said. "I have admired and been inspired by many of them. I'm thankful to work for an organization that supports me personally and professionally to be the best I can be and to have co-workers and family that make me enjoy each day I am blessed to spend with them."
Fragoso has been with the Express since 2001, leading the overall vision of the public and marketplace image of the Express and Dell Diamond. She plans and executes all marketing, branding and promotional events and strategies. She was named a 2011 finalist for the Rawlings Minor League Baseball Woman Executive of the Year, an award that recognizes the outstanding work of female executives in each league. She continues to lead and mentor other women on staff, blazing a trail in the industry for them to follow.
The Women of the Rock Awards recognize 16 professional women that inspire the next generation while fueling entrepreneurial passion and encouraging women to be a force for change. It was created to honor and generate public recognition for the achievements and positive contributions of the amazing professional women of Round Rock, Texas. These individuals have contributed significantly to the Round Rock community and Round Rock Living aims to recognize those valiant achievements and commitments.
Online voting for the 2017 Women of the Year award is open now through midnight on September 30. Fans can vote once per IP address. The winner will be selected by a panel of local business and community leaders and based off each nominee's accomplishments, impact on the community and online voting. The awards gala will be held on October 21.
