CF Justin Dean put the Comets on the board with a solo home run in the top of the sixth. SS Alex Freeland got on with his second double of the night then 1B Michael Chavis hit a two-run home run cutting the deficit to 4-3.

Oklahoma City DH Nick Senzel tied the ballgame at 4-4 with a leadoff home run in the seventh. Both clubs traded zeroes in the last two frames sending the Express to its fifth extra-inning contest of the season.

Crim opened the home half on second base then advanced to third when Foscue grounded out. Freeman hit a chopper to 3B Kody Hoese but his throw sailed over Chavis at first and Crim was able to score the tying run.
