Curve Celebrate America250 with Pennsylvania Continentals Identity

CURVE, PA – The Altoona Curve, Double-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, will play as the Pennsylvania Continentals six times throughout the 2026 season as part of the yearlong America 250th Celebration.
In 1775, the Second Continental Congress formed the Continental Army as the unified military force of the Thirteen Colonies during the American Revolutionary War. Led by Commander-in-Chief George Washington, this diverse mix of men from all different colonies transformed from an untrained militia to a disciplined army capable of defeating the British and securing American freedom.
This revolutionary rebrand represents the spirit of America, the U.S. Continental Army, and the fight that shaped our nation 250 years ago! Pennsylvania has always had a rich history tied to the American Revolution, and this identity embodies that historical connection.
The primary logo features an outline of Pennsylvania with 13 stars to represent the original colonies. Independence Hall, the historical building that famously housed the signing of the Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia, is featured within the logo.
The new identity will be featured once per month throughout the season and is presented by the Blair County Suicide Prevention Task Force and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. The Continentals will make their debut on Friday, April 3 against the Harrisburg Senators.
The Continentals will also take the field on Friday, May 22, Thursday, June 25, Friday, July 10, Saturday, August 15, and Saturday, September 12. The games on June 25, August 15, and September 12 will feature postgame fireworks.
Tickets for all Continentals games will go on sale Saturday, February 28 at CurveFest. Fans will get their first look at the uniform and hat on Monday, February 23 at the Curve’s annual First Pitch Season Preview event at Levity Brewing Company. Opening Day of the 2026 Altoona Curve season, presented by Stuckey Automotive, is slated for Thursday, April 2, when the Curve host the Harrisburg Senators.
