CURVE, Pa. – Harrisburg played seven runs over their final three at-bats to secure a 10-2 win over Altoona on Sunday afternoon at PNG Field.

Altoona’s offense scratched out a pair of runs off Harrisburg starter Brad Lord with an RBI single from Dylan Shockley in the third and an infield single from Tsung-Che Cheng in the fifth inning. Lord struck out seven in 4.2 innings as the starter for Harrisburg.

With the game standing at 3-2 in favor of Harrisburg, Braxton Ashcraft allowed three straight baserunners to begin the seventh inning before Altoona went back to their bullpen. Valentin Linarez was able to keep one run from scoring, however, he permitted two inherited runners to cross home in the seventh and a Grand Slam to Harrisburg’s Dylan Crews in the eighth inning to make it a 9-2 lead for the Senators. Harrisburg added another run in the tenth off Brad Case when Israel Pineda lifted a sacrifice fly to left field.

Anthony Solometo made his second start of the season for the Curve and was charged with the loss after allowing three runs on six hits in three innings. Eddy Yean tossed an inning of relief, walking one batter and allowing no runs or hits.

The Curve offense managed a season-high 11 hits, led by Seth Beer’s two singles. Tres Gonzalez added his first two extra base hits of the season with a triple in the third and a double in the ninth. Brenden Dixon also recorded two hits in the loss for the Curve.

Altoona travels to Bowie to begin a six-game series on Tuesday night at 6:05 p.m. RHP Po-Yu Chen is slated to start for with RHP Brandon Young slated to start for the Baysox.
