Triolo was also one of three finalists for the Rawling Gold Glove Award for a Utility player in 2025.

A native of Houston, Texas, Triolo spent the 2022 season with the Curve alongside current Pirates Nick Gonzales, Carmen Mlodzinski and Henry Davis. Triolo also ranked second in the Eastern League in batting, third in both walks and OBP, seventh in hits, tied for seventh in triples and tied for ninth in stolen bases and was honored as the system's Bill Mazeroski Defender of the Year after the season.

Triolo made his major league debut with the Pirates on June 28, 2023, against the San Diego Padres and has played 292 games for the Pirates over the last four seasons.
