The goal of the Reading With RUCKUS program presented by Intersect Power is to promote reading with students. The program is set up just like a baseball game; there are 9 innings which represent 9 books for students to read. Students in the program are encouraged to read books on their grade reading level and for each completed book, students will receive a prize from an inning sponsor. Once a student reads all 9 books, he or she will receive a free ticket to an Amarillo Sod Poodles baseball game in 2025! Bookmarks are provided to every student in the program and each participating classroom has a poster to keep track of the student's reading progress. Below is a list of the sponsors for each inning.
