June 8th Doubleheader postponed, Doubleheader scheduled for Sunday

NORTH AUGUSTA, SC: Tonight's doubleheader with the Kannapolis Intimidators (Chicago White Sox) has been postponed. The continuation of Friday's game will start at 12:05 tomorrow, Sunday June 9^th and the 2^nd game of the doubleheader to follow 30 minutes after. Gates will open at 11 a.m.

The Intimidators had a 1-0 lead as we entered the bottom of the 2^nd inning on Friday, but the rain halted the action. Tonight's doubleheader provided more rain, and because of it, the 2^nd game will be cancelled, meaning the GreenJackets will play 139 games, instead of 140 in the regular season.
While the first inning of tomorrows game will still be nine-innings, Game #2 of the doubleheader will be a seven-inning affair between the GreenJackets and Intimidators.
Fans with tickets for tonight's game can exchange them for any other game during the 2019 schedule EXCEPT for the July 4^th game at SRP Park.
