Rain Shortened Game Goes GreenJackets Way
North Augusta, SC: The Augusta GreenJackets, South Atlantic League affiliate of San Francisco Giants, won 8-4 in a rain shorted game against the Rome Braves on Friday night.

The game would officially be called in the middle of the fifth as rain continued to fall at SRP Park.
With the game tied at one in the third inning, the GreenJackets went to work.
The GreenJackets didn't stop there. In the fourth inning, they would put up four more runs.

The win by the GreenJackets now puts their lead to 2.5 games in the Southern Division over the Braves. First pitch of game two of the series will take place at 6:05 pm.
