NORTH AUGUSTA, SC: The Augusta GreenJackets, South Atlantic League affiliate of San Francisco Giants, in partnership with LB Productions, King of the Cage and Gerald Jones Ford, are excited to announce that on Saturday, May 11th, SRP Park will play host to the "Rumble on the River", the largest MMA event that has ever come through the CSRA.

Terry Trebilecock Jr. of The King of The Cage, Tom Denlinger of The Augusta GreenJackets and Andy Jones of Gerald Jones Ford have joined forces with LB Productions, LLC, to make such an exciting event possible in the CSRA. It is a full-contact combat sport and there are plenty of reasons why it is constantly growing. We have the most exciting lineup of MMA fighters and some really good local fighters too. Our guests are going to see intense back and forth battles and the entire spectrum of MMA excitement. It's going to be a great night of powerful entertainment.
After performing over 700 events since its inception in 1998, King of the Cage has proven to be a leader in the evolution of Mixed Martial Arts. No other production has promoted more fights than King of the Cage. KOTC has and continues to promote shows globally, including in the United States and foreign countries such as England, Singapore, South Africa, Canada, Japan, Australia and the Philippines.

Fans who attend the King of the Cage MMA fight presented by Gerald Jones Ford will be able to watch seven (7) Pro Fights with the main event being a Pro Heavyweight World Championship Fight. There will also be six (6) amateur fights which could feature local CSRA MMA fighters and Southeast regional fighters. Fighters who will be in attendance for the "Rumble on the River" will be announced at a later date.
Individual tickets go on-sale to the general public at the SRP Park Box Office (187 Railroad Ave, North Augusta) on Friday, March 1st at 9AM. Fans who would like to purchase online will be able to starting at 10AM. There will be NO phone orders for the King of the Cage MMA fight presented by: Gerald Jones Ford.
The GreenJackets will open up VIP ticket sales to GreenJackets Season Seat Holders and Sponsors from Tuesday, February 26th through Thursday, February 28th at midnight.
