SRP Park to Host USC Aiken v. Augusta University

NORTH AUGUSTA, SC: The Augusta GreenJackets, South Atlantic League affiliate of San Francisco Giants, in partnership with Augusta University (Peach Belt Conference), are excited to announce that on Thursday, March 28^th, Augusta University will make its first trip to SRP Park to host the University of South Carolina Aiken (Peach Belt Conference). First pitch is slated for 6:35PM with gates opening at 5:30PM.

Individual tickets go on-sale to the general public at the SRP Park Box Office (187 Railroad Ave, North Augusta) on Monday, March 18^th at 9AM. Fans who would like to purchase online will be able to at 10AM. There will be NO phone orders for the USC Aiken v. Augusta University game.

The GreenJackets & Augusta University will open up VIP ticket sales to GreenJackets Season Seat Holders, Sponsors & both Augusta University and USC Aiken Alumni Clubs on Friday, March 15^th from 10AM - midnight. Augusta University and USC Aiken Alumni members will receive correspondence from their respective schools.
"We are excited to welcome Augusta University and USC Aiken to host a Baseball Border Bash with bragging rights on the line at SRP Park," stated GreenJackets Vice President Tom Denlinger. "This is another great opportunity for the community to come out and support regional baseball and pack SRP Park as the countdown to Opening Day is underway!"

*$1 from every ticket will go to benefit the USC Aiken Baseball Program after their unfortunate bus fire from this weekend. *
About Augusta University Baseball
The 2019 Augusta Jaguars sport a 31-man roster and are back for the third season under head coach Chris Howell. Augusta returned 16 players from 2018 and signed 11 new position players and six new pitchers. The Jaguars are ranked second in the Peach Belt Conference in home runs, triples, and slugging percentage and are top five in hits, doubles, RBI, extra-base hits, and walks. Augusta started the season with 14 home games at Jaguar Field and have scored eight or more runs in 19 games this season.
