Wong made his fifth start of the season and retired the first six batters he faced.
Bowlan finishes his day after five innings and he allows four runs.
In the bottom of the 8th, Jacob Gonzalez finished off a 2-3, 2 RBI day with an RBI triple making it 5-0 Augusta.

Jacob Gonzalez was great at the plate, but Wong was brilliant on the hill. The right-hander lowers his ERA to 2.78 for the season and he has gone six innings in back-to-back starts.

It's the battle of two southpaws in Game #2 of the series with Lexington. The GreenJackets send out Seth Corry to make his 5th start of the year. Corry has not gone more than four innings in a start this season, but has only allowed two earned runs and they both came in his last start. Corry is ranked as the #25 Prospect in the San Francisco Giants organization according to MLB.com.
Lexington will have Austin Cox make his 4th start of the season. Cox is coming off an outing where he allowed five runs against the Greenville Drive over 4.2 innings. He was a 5th Round pick from Mercer back in 2018 by the Kansas City Royals. Cox is ranked as the #18 Prospect in the Royals system according to MLB.com.
