A

Alcohol Management

In compliance with Wisconsin state law, the Beloit Snappers will not serve alcohol to anyone under the age of 21. It is also against state law to purchase alcohol for anyone under 21 years of age. The Snappers reserve the right to refuse the sale of alcohol and may evict any person deemed to be intoxicated from Pohlman Field.

ATM

An ATM is located in the Snapper's Gift Shop.

Autographs

Autograph seekers may obtain autographs on the main concourse and at field level on the first and third base sides up to 10 minutes prior to the start of the game and following the game.

Birthday Parties

Fans of all ages can celebrate their birthday at Pohlman Field with one of our special birthday packages. Birthday parties include game tickets, a birthday cake, food vouchers, game vouchers, gift shop dollars, a birthday wish over the PA, a team signed baseball and chance to throw out a ceremonial first pitch. Broken Windshields

Fans are welcome to park in any of the lots surrounding Pohlman Field at no cost or on the adjacent streets (as allowed by law). However, fans who park in an area where baseballs may inflict damage to their automobile do so at their own risk. The Snappers are not liable for any damage to automobiles parked in any of the area lots or on the street.

Concessions

Pohlman Field's concession stands are located throughout the stadium for your convenience. The main concession stand is located behind home plate on the main concourse. Grilled specialties can be purchased down the first base side. Specialty items and additional beverage stands are located on the main concours and down the first and third base lines.

Credit Card Policy

The Snappers gladly accept Visa, Discover, and MasterCard at the concession stands, ticket office, and gift shop.

Customer Service

The Snappers customer service center is located in the Snappers offices directly behind home plate. Guests can receive answers to questions, obtain team information, register concerns, pick up prizes, and drop off or pick up lost and found items.

First Aid

First aid is available through the Snappers office behind home plate. Please report any medical emergencies to the Snappers staff.

Food and Beverage Carry-In

Midwest League rules prohibit fans from bringing any coolers, cans, bottles, food, or beverages into the ballpark.

Foul Balls

Fans may keep any foul ball that is hit into the stands. However, any ball or bat entering the stands can be potentially dangerous - please stay alert at all times. Those leaving the park to retrieve a foul ball will not be allowed back into the ballpark.

Gates Open

On game days, the gates to Pohlman Field open to the public one hour prior to the scheduled game time.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates good for tickets or Snappers licensed merchandise are available in any denomination above $5.00 through the Snappers offices.

Ground Rules

  1. The facing of both dugouts is live. If a ball bounces off the facing and lands in the playing area, it is a live ball. If the ball hits the facing and drops into the dugout, the ball is dead.
  2. A chalk line near the batting cage in the left field foul area marks the boundary between live and dead ball territory. If a ground ball crosses the line, the ball is dead. However, a player must come back into live ball territory to throw.
  3. All balls hit into the bullpen area are live except for those that become lodged beneath the bullpen benches. Lodged balls are dead.
  4. The first row of fence signs in the outfield are in play. The second row of fence signs, message center and scoreboard are recessed behind the fence and are out of play. Any ball striking the second level of fence signs, message center or scoreboard on the fly shall be a home run.
  5. Any ball that goes beneath the deck area along the right field foul line is dead.
  6. Players may lean on the tarp to catch a ball but cannot go on top of the tarp. Any ball caught while standing on the tarp shall be a dead ball.
  7. The break on the backstop is anything above the horizontal wire located at the top of the support poles. Any ball going above the break shall be a dead ball.

Handicapped Seating & Parking

Pohlman Field has handicapped seating in the box seats (Box A) and general admission sections. Companion chairs are available. Handicapped parking is available in front of the main entrance to the stadium.

Lost and Found

Items can be taken to and claimed at the Snappers offices located behind home plate.

Mascot Relations

Snappy is available for community events. To schedule an appearance, call 608-362-2272 or 1-888-SNAP-2-IT. At least two week's prior notice is required. Appearances based on availability.

P

PA Announcements

All requests for public address announcements (birthdays, anniversaries, etc.) must be made in writing at the Snappers offices prior to the fourth inning. All announcement requests are subject to time constraints.

Paging

The public address system at Pohlman field will be used for paging in extreme cases only. Contact Snappers customer service in this event. Those being paged should report to the Snappers offices located behind home plate.

Parking

All parking at Pohlman Field is free. The lot north of the clubhouse and adjacent to the Edwards Ice Arena is available to the public. On-street parking is available in the area surrounding Pohlman field. However, please note that parking is prohibited in some areas which are clearly posted. The Snappers ask that you please follow all parking ordinances.

Picnics

Pre-game picnics are available for groups of 25 or more. For reservations and information, contact the Snappers group sales department or call 608-362-2272 or 1-888-SNAP-2-IT.

Press Box

The press box is open only to authorized Snappers personnel and the working media. Please take all public address announcement requests to the Snappers customer service center.

R

Rain Check

In the event that a Snappers game is rained out, any ticket for the game can be exchanged for a ticket to an upcoming home game at the Snappers ticket office. THERE WILL BE NO CASH REFUNDS FOR A RAINED OUT GAME. All exchanges are subject to availability.

Re-Entry to the Stadium

Fans are allowed to exit and re-enter the stadium with a valid ticket stub from that day's game. However, anyone leaving the stadium to chase a foul ball will not be allowed to re-enter.

Restrooms

Restrooms are located on the main concourse near the main concessions and are handicap accessible.

Smoking

Smoking is NOT allowed anywhere inside of Pohlman Field.

Souvenirs

The Snappers Gift Shop is located in the main concourse and offers a wide variety of Snappers licensed apparel and souvenirs. The gift shop is open year-round for your convenience. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. as well as during every Snappers home game. Merchandise can also be ordered from the Snappers Pro Shop at www.snappersbaseball.com as well as being ordered over the phone by calling the Snappers offices at 608-362-2272 or 1-888-SNAP-2-IT.

Speed Pitch Booth

Fans can show off their arm at the Speed Pitch booth located near the main entrance to the stadium.

T

Tailgating

Tailgate parties are permitted in the Telfer Park parking lot, provided the groups properly dispose of any litter upon conclusion of their party. Hot coals are not to be disposed of within the trash barrels in the lot. Telfer Park is a Beloit city park, and alcohol IS NOT permitted. Any use will be monitored by the City of Beloit Parks Patrol, and citations may be issued. Any alcohol consumption is to be confined to Pohlman Field and within the Edwards Pavilion, by pavilion rental groups provided they have a beer permit.

Ticket Office

On non-game days, the Snappers ticket office is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. On game days the ticket office is open from 9:00 a.m. until the end of the game. The ticket office is located in the Snappers administrative offices.

Ticket Policies

Any unused PAID ticket can be exchanged for a general admission ticket to a later regular season game in the same season ONLY. Any general admission ticket may be upgraded to a reserved seat for $1.00 and a box seat for $2.00. Reserved seats may be upgraded to box seats for $1.00. All upgrades must be made at the Snappers ticket office.

Water Fountains

Water fountains are located on the main concourse adjacent to the restrooms.

The Snappers official website is located at www.snappersbaseball.com. The Snappers website provides you with the schedule, promotions, game summaries, press releases, statistics, and more. Merchandise and tickets can also be ordered on-line and fans can sign up for the club's e-mail newsletter.
