Concert 'Set List' revealed for July 3rd event

On Monday, July 3, the best Western New York summer tradition returns to Coca-Cola Field. And with the 23^rd installment of the KeyBank Independence Eve Celebration just days away, the Bisons and the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra & Chorus shared a musical program that will pay tribute to military heroes, lost big screen icons and larger than life characters.
Over 400,000 fans have attended the KeyBank Independence Eve Celebration since the tradition began in 1995. This year, fans will once again be treated with a Postgame Concert by the award-winning BPO & Chorus led by conductor Stefan Sanders as well as the Largest Fireworks Show of the Season!

To pay tribute to the brave servicemen and women who protect our freedoms and those that have paid the ultimate sacrifice in the pursuit of liberty, the BPO and Chorus will perform Battle Hymn of the Republic, Overture 1812, and the Washington Post March. The great Independence Eve tradition of recognizing each branch of the U.S. Armed Forces will also continue with the Armed Forces Salute.
This past December, the entertainment world lost a pair of big screen icons just one day apart, actresses Debbie Reynolds and her daughter, Carrie Fisher. To pay tribute to these two movie legends, the BPO will perform Singin' in the Rain and Princess Leia's Theme to remember the roles that made them stars.
In honor of the 25^th anniversary of the animated hit Aladdin, songs such as Arabian Nights, Friend Like Me and A Whole New World will have fans of all ages singing along. The Bisons and the BPO will also celebrate the 20^th anniversary of Jurassic Park 2 with a medley from the movie.
