FRIDAY: David Price scheduled to face Bisons

Southpaw is with PawSox, expected to go on fridaynightbash!

The heat has officially been turned up on this week's fridaynightbash!

The Bisons host Pawtucket on Friday, May 19 and the PawSox are scheduled to have Boston Red Sox hurler DAVID PRICE on the mound to face the Herd.

Price is with Pawtucket on a Major League injury rehab assignment. The lefty threw a sim game at McCoy Stadium on Sunday and is now scheduled to start for the PawSox against Buffalo.

First pitch for this week's fridaynightbash! is set for 7:05 p.m., but the party starts at 5:00 p.m. with a special EXTENDED Resurgence Brewing Happy Hour. Enjoy $3.00 craft beer as well as live entertainment and food specials all the way until 8 p.m. on Friday.

UPDATE - Boston Red Sox Slugger Pablo Sandoval is also scheduled to be with the PawSox for the start of the series against the Bisons.

The fridaynightbash! will also include the ALL-NEW in-park Fireworks experience as the Bisons have brought the show inside the ballpark.

David Price is a five-time All-Star with a career 121-65 record over nine big league seasons. He won the American League Cy Young award in 2012, posting a 20-5 record and a 2.56 ERA in 41 starts with Tampa Bay. Price also went 9-1 with a 2.30 ERA in 11 starts with the Toronto Blue Jays in 2015.
