KEY PLAYS

  • Renegades catcher Carlos Narvaez cracked a three-run home run over the 16-foot-high wall in left field in the top of the sixth inning to break a scoreless tie against Brooklyn starter Luis Moreno to make it 3-0. In the top of the eighth, Hudson Valley added to the lead when Grant Richardson pushed a two-run home run over the left-center field wall.

  • Hudson Valley starter Richard Fitts tossed six scoreless in his second High-A start, striking out seven and walking one with four scattered hits in the victory.

  • Jose Peroza has reached base in 20 consecutive contests, collecting two hits. Matt Rudick pushed his on-base streak to 10 games with a late walk.

  • Daniel Juarez tossed a perfect ninth inning in his High-A debut, earning the promotion from Low-A St. Lucie earlier in the day.
