Vargas pitched in 20 games and made 14 starts for the Bisons. Overall, the righty was 5-7 with a 5.86 ERA and 55 strikeouts in 83.0 innings of work. Velez hit .270 (60-222) with seven home runs, 24 RBI and 21 stolen bases in 69 games with the Herd.
