The fridaynightbash!® series returns with each game featuring the Resurgence Brewing Happy Hour and postgame Fireworks! Saturdays feature an all new 6:05 p.m. start time beginning in June and will be the day Bisons fans find their favorite themed night, such as Star Wars Night (June 2), presented by Alfred State College, Superhero Night (Aug. 11), Dino Day (July 21), Seinfeld Night with special guest appearance by Steve Hytner (aka Kenny Bania)(June 23), presented by Amherst Security Professionals and Strike Out Cancer Night (July 7). Buster's Kids Club Sundays wrap up every fun-filled weekend with post game Kids Run the Bases and special event days like Father's Day with Play Catch on the Field (June 17), Princess Day (June 24) and an appearance by the ZOOperstars! This year's annual School Kids Day, presented by New York's 529 College Savings Program & Alfred State College, with morning first pitch is May 31 with Youth Baseball Day just a few days later on June 3. Blue Jays Weekend (May 5-6) is a two-day celebration of the Bisons' partnership with their major league parent club and will once again feature Blue Jays alums (TBA) as well as a special giveaway (TBA).
The popular Dog Day has been expanded into the all-new Dog Day Series, with one game every month of the season open for our favorite four-legged fans: April 28, May 20, June 14, July 17 and August 21. The Dog Day on Sunday, May 20 will even feature a Dog Bowl Giveaway to the first 2,000 fans in attendance.
That's not all Bisons' fans will be able to take home in 2018. Other great giveaways on the schedule include Magnetic Schedules on Opening Day (April 12), Logo Baseballs on Father's Day (June 17), Fidget Spinners (June 27) and Giant Wall Stickers (Aug. 1). To celebrate his 40th season of service with the Bisons, the team also announced that their fridaynightbash!® on July 6 will also be Conehead Day at the Ballpark. The first 2,000 fans through the Inspire Dental Gate will receive a Koozie Giveaway, even though they won't need them that night thanks to the 'Conehead Guarantee.'
No Bisons promotional schedule would be complete without their Heritage Festival Nights with pre-game tent party and postgame fireworks on Irish Night (June 26), Italian Night (July 19) and Polish Night (Aug. 7). In all, the Bisons have 18 Fireworks Nights in 2018, or over 25% of their 70-game schedule.
