Kernels to host Spring Job Fairs March 17 & 22

Cedar Rapids, IA – The Cedar Rapids Kernels will host their spring job fair for seasonal part-time positions. The two-day job fair will be on Friday, March 17th at Veterans Memorial Stadium from 4:00-7:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 22nd at Veterans Memorial Stadium from 3:30-7:00 PM.
Interested candidates can complete the application at the job fair and interview on the spot for part-time positions at the Kernels, Prospect Meadows, Triple Play Park, Tuma Soccer Complex, and the Iowa Equestrian Center. Part-time positions are available in the following departments.
STADIUM GAME DAY STAFF:
· Souvenir store cashiers
· Inflatable & kid’s games
· Custodians & Maintenance
· Ushers
· Ticket Takers
· Security
FOOD & BEVERAGE:
· Concessions
· Cashiers
· Cooks
· Bartenders
ENTERTAINMENT
· On-Field Entertainment staff
The job fair is open to any individual aged 16 years and older who wish to work for the Kernels. Interviews will be on-site and some jobs will start within the next week or two. The Kernels Opening Night for 2023 is Tuesday, April 11th at 6:35 PM vs. Quad Cities. Single-game tickets go on sale on Monday, March 20th at 10:00 AM.
