Segra Park, located in Columbia, South Carolina, is the 9,077-capacity home of the Columbia Fireflies, the Single-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. Opened in April 2016 as the centerpiece of the historic BullStreet District redevelopment, the $37 million facility earned immediate acclaim, winning Ballpark Digest's Ballpark of the Year award in its debut season. The stadium features a spacious 360-degree wrap-around concourse, grass berm seating, 16 luxury suites, and a 7,000-square-foot Club Lounge, combining modern fan comforts with intimate viewing angles.

Beyond hosting Minor League Baseball throughout the spring and summer, Segra Park functions as a versatile, year-round community park and entertainment complex. The multi-purpose facility regularly accommodates outdoor concerts, collegiate sports, seasonal holiday light shows, corporate meetings, and private celebrations. Equipped with high-tech amenities and operating as a completely cashless venue, Segra Park stands as a key anchor for downtown Columbia’s urban growth.

Getting to Segra Park

Parking & Public Transit

Freed Street Parking Deck: Located directly across from the ballpark's main plaza at the corner of Freed Street and Boyce Street, the 657-spot parking garage serves as the primary parking option for fans. Entry is accessible from Freed Street or Colonial Drive.
Overflow & VIP Lots: Additional overflow parking is available across Colonial Drive (accessible off Bull Street at Confederate Avenue). A dedicated VIP lot is situated at Saunders Street.
Payment & Policies: Standard game-day parking is $5 and must be paid via credit card—cash is not accepted. Note that tailgating is prohibited in all venue-controlled lots.
Accessible Parking: Designated ADA spots are available on the first level of the Freed Street Parking Deck, as well as along Boyce Street directly in front of the box office.

The COMET (Soda Cap Connector Route 3): Columbia's local transit system, The COMET, runs a dedicated shuttle connecting Downtown Columbia and the Main Street District straight to Segra Park.
Game-Day Schedule: Shuttles run every 20 minutes starting one hour before the game and continue operating until one hour after the game ends. Rides are typically $1 or free depending on current city promotions, allowing fans to bypass parking traffic.

Segra Park is located at 1640 Freed Street, Columbia, SC 29201 inside the BullStreet District.

From the West / I-26 (Irmo, Lexington, or Greenville): Take I-26 East toward Columbia and merge onto I-126 East. As you enter downtown, I-126 becomes Elmwood Avenue. Continue straight on Elmwood Avenue, turn left onto Bull Street (US-21 North), then turn right onto Freed Drive to reach the ballpark.
From the North / I-77 (Northeast Columbia or Charlotte): Take I-77 South to SC-277 South toward downtown Columbia. Take the exit for Farrow Road (SC-555), turn left onto Farrow Road, and continue straight as it turns into Colonial Drive. Turn left at the traffic light into the BullStreet District onto Freed Drive.
From the South / I-77 (Orangeburg or Rock Hill/I-20 East): Take I-77 North to Exit 10 for SC-768/Shop Road or Exit 6A for Shop Road toward downtown. Head north toward Assembly Street, turn right onto Elmwood Avenue, then turn left onto Bull Street and right onto Freed Drive.
From Downtown Columbia / State House: Head north on Main Street or Assembly Street toward Elmwood Avenue. Turn right onto Elmwood Avenue, then take an immediate left onto Bull Street (US-21). Turn right onto Freed Drive into the stadium complex.
